Welcome Dr. Moore
You may have noticed a new face around the Cammack Building this year. The Psychology Department is very pleased to welcome Dr. Melinda Moore to our faculty. Dr. Moore, a Clinical Psychologist, comes to us from the University of Kentucky where she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the Military Suicide Research Project in the College of Social Work. She earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and two Master’s degrees from The Catholic University of America (in Washington, DC), and a B.A. in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from The Ohio State University. She will be teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses and supervising students in the EKU Psychology Clinic. Dr. Moore and her students will be pursuing research on suicide prevention, suicide bereavement and posttraumatic growth, and on systems of care.
